Posted Date: 03/06/26 (04:35 PM)

Lamar CISD is congratulated for being recognized as a 2025 Honor Roll District by Educational Results Partnership.
The Educational Results Partnership (ERP) Honor Roll, part of the national Campaign for Business and Education Excellence (CBEE), brings business leaders together to recognize schools and educational systems that prepare students with the essential skills for success in the workforce and in life.

This year, Lamar CISD as a district and 11 individual Lamar CISD campuses earned a place on ERP’s 2025 Honor Roll, distinguishing them among Texas’ top‑performing schools and districts.

The 2025 Lamar CISD ERP Honor Roll campuses include the following:

Austin Elementary
Arredondo Elementary
Bentley Elementary
Campbell Elementary
Dickinson Elementary
McNeill Elementary
Tamarron Elementary
Terrell Elementary
Thomas Elementary
Williams Elementary
Briscoe Junior High

To qualify, a school or district must perform above the mean (trendline) at least 80% of the time for all student groups and grade levels served.

“The ERP Honor Roll is unique in the way it brings together education professionals and business leaders to honor the impact of education on students’ preparedness for the future,” said Lamar CISD Superintendent Dr. Roosevelt Nivens. “We’re honored to once again have our district recognized, and to see 11 of our campuses named to this year’s list.”

The recognition identifies and celebrates high‑performing schools and school districts based on objective student achievement data. In 2025, approximately 15% of eligible schools and 14.5% of eligible districts in Texas earned recognition.

ERP Honor Roll schools and school districts demonstrate consistently higher performance on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) Reading, Language Arts, and Math assessments across all student groups they serve. They also show measurable progress in improving outcomes for historically underserved student populations.
